Tobermory is an attractive little town that is the terminal point for the Bruce Trail and Highway 6. It is located about 50 minutes north of Pike Bay. Tobermory offers visitors, shopping, dining, gorgeous scenery, tranquil waters and some of the darkest skies in southern Ontario. The ferry runs several times a day to Manitoulin Island. Tobermory is home to the Canadian National Park on the Bruce Peninsula. A visit to the interpretive centre is well worth the time. There is good access to the Bruce Trail and lots of water activities associated with the two harbours and the National Marine Park. Lots of glass-bottomed tourist boats for sightseeing. A trip to Flowerpot Island is interesting.
